Bryant-Conway games moved to Saturday night

The 7A/6A-Central Conference basketball game between the Bryant Hornets and Conway Wampus Cats has been moved again due to inclement weather.

The two teams, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, were postponed until tonight but, with new snow, it has been postponed again and will now be played on Saturday evening, according to Bryant Athletic Director Mike Lee.

Saturday’s games will include junior varsity boys and girls basketball at 5 p.m. (boys will play in the Bryant Middle School gym, JV girls will play in the high school gym).  The varsity girls’ game will begin at 6 in the high school gym followed by varsity boys.

The varsity girls and varsity boys will travel to Russellville on Thursday, Feb. 26. There will be no JV games at Russellville. Girls’ action will start earlier than usual, beginning at 5 p.m., followed by boys’ action.

The Bryant teams will travel to Siloam Springs) on Friday, Feb. 27 with JV boys and girls games at 4:30, varsity girls’ action after JV contests followed by the varsity boys game.

Both Bryant varsity squads will begin play in the Class 7A State Tournament in Springdale next week.
