RUSSELLVILLE — The Bryant Hornets finished as runners-up to the West Memphis Blue Devils at[more] the 2012 7A/6A Division of the State Weight-lifting meet on Saturday.
The Hornets, lifting in 10 different weight divisions, accumulated 4,635 pounds with West Memphis lifting 4,860 pounds. Russellville was third in the Division at 4,600.
Wynne was the overall champion with a total of 4,985 pounds.
Bryant was represented by Blake Hobby, Karon Dismuke, Drew Martin, Tim Kelly, Colton Burton, Collin Battaglia, Jalen Bell, Dustin Fiser, Mar’Kevious Nelson, and Kemith Buffington.
