PEARCY — The Bryant Hornets freshman basketball team has advanced to the[more] championship game of the Kameron Hale Memorial Invitational Tournament at Lake Hamilton with a 30-27 win over the previously unbeaten Hot Springs Lakeside Junior Rams on Thursday.
The Hornets will take on an 8-1 Hot Springs team in the finals this evening at 6:30.
Meanwhile, the Bryant Lady Hornets freshmen absorbed a 45-24 loss to the rival Benton Lady Panthers in a girls semifinal. The Lady Hornets will take on Lake Hamilton in the third-place game today at 3 p.m. Benton will play Hot Springs in the championship game.
