EL DORADO — Dylan Wolf and Bryce Denker each drilled a pair of goals as the Bryant Hornets[more] soccer team won its ninth match in a row and improved to 8-0 in the South Conference with a 6-0 decision over the El Dorado Wildcats at Memorial Stadium Tuesday night.
The Hornets, now 13-1-1 overall, lead the South Conference. They’ll host second-place Benton this Friday.
Houston Clifton got the Hornets on the board in short order against El Dorado, less than two minutes into the contest. Denker got the first of his two assists on the play.
It stayed 1-0 until the 3:01 mark of the half when Denker found Wolf with a pass that Wolf delivered into the net to make it 2-0 at the break.
Wolf then opened the scoring in the second half with an unassisted goal at about eight minutes in. At 25:55, he assisted on a goal by Justin Travis to make it 4-0.
Denker’s unassisted goal came at 19:18 then his second came off a feed from Josh Lowery at 18:03.
It was the team's ninth shutout of the season and second in a row. In 15 matches so far, they've allowed just seven goals.
