CABOT — Houston Clifton won two events and Brushawn Hunter won another as the Bryant Blue Hornets seventh grade boys track team from Bethel Middle School finished second at a meet in Cabot Monday, April 5.

Clifton won the 800 meter run and the 1600 meter run (5:31) while Hunter won the 200.
Second-place finishes were turned in by Hunter in the long jump (15-10), the triple jump (32-2), the high jump (5-0) and the 100 meter dash. Brandon Warner was second in the 300 meter hurdles.
In addition, the 1600 meter relay team of Warner, Brice Hardin, Clifton and Nic Townsend turned in a second-place performance.
The Hornets got third-place points from Townsend in the 400, Clifton in the triple jump (31-8), and Clark Garland in the 200.
Hunter Fugitt placed fourth in the discus and fifth in the 300 hurdles. Hardin was fifth in the 400 and Dylan Wolf was fifth in the 1600 (5:48).
The quartet of Cesar Rodarte, Harley Westfall, Chris Eason and Micah Holdman earned fifth-place points in the 3200 meter relay finishing in 11:36.
Warner was sixth in the 110 hurdles (17.66) and Garland was sixth in the 100.
Seventh-place finishes were turned in by Drew Allen in the discus and Holdman in the 800.
In the 800 relay, Bryant Blue’s team of Warner, Garland, Hardin and Hunter finished eighth.
