SEARCY — Former Bryant Lady Hornets soccer player, Kaitlyn Miller, has been named the Goalkeeper of the Week in the Great American Conference for the fourth week of the women’s soccer season.
Miller, a junior at Harding University, earned GAC victories against Northwestern Oklahoma State and two-time champion Southwestern Oklahoma State to push the Lady Bisons’ league record to 3-0, atop the conference standings. She posted a 1.01 goals-against average and made a total of 11 saves in the two wins.
Miller was second team All-GAC as a sophomore in 2013 when she started all 18 games at goalkeeper and posted a 1.64 goals against average, 1,587 minutes, 29 goals allowed, 100 saves, 6-9-1 record, 5 shutouts. She ranked sixth in a Harding single season in saves (100), save percentage (.775), and goals against average (1.64). She also ranked fourth in the GAC in goals against average, third in save percentage, third in saves per game (5.56), and second in shutouts (5).
Kaitlyn is the daughter of Lee and Annette Miller.
