CONWAY — Central Baptist College’s Austin Harmon, a junior from Bryant, was named the National Christian College Athletic Association’s Men’s Golf Player of the Week on Wednesday, Sept.16.
Harmon was selected after the Mustangs’ third-place finish in the Southwestern Christian University Invitational last week. He was the medalist at the tournament, firing a two-day total of 137 (71-66). He recorded 14 birdies in his two rounds.
Harmon is a graduate of Bryant High School where he was an All-Conference and All-State performer.
The NCCAA honors selected student-athletes for their Christian ideals and their accomplishments. Each student-athlete is nominated by his/her respective institution.
