The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School ran into a[more] buzzsaw when they took on the Cabot South Junior Lady Panthers on Tuesday night.
The Lady Panthers ran up a 32-6 lead by halftime on the way to a 52-14 win.
Bryant White was within 16-6 after the first quarter but then was held scoreless in the second period while Cabot South doubled its total. It was 43-8 after three quarters.
Savannah Schultz led the Lady Hornets with 4 points. Deja Rayford, Destiny Martin, Macey Jaramillo, Jadyn Lewis and Hadley Dickinson each finished with 2.
The Lady Hornets’ B team is set to play at Bryant Blue (Bethel Middle School) on Monday, Dec. 10. The A team returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at home against Lake Hamilton.
