The Bryant Hornets wrestling team finished seventh in an 18-team field at the Little Rock Central Classic Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 6, and came back on Tuesday with a dual match at home against Greenbrier.
In the tournament, Kyle Thompson placed second in the 160-pound division and Landon Smith was second in the 170-pound division. In addition, Garith East was third in the 132-pound division and Reggie Clemmons was third in the 120-pound division.
In the dual match, Greenbrier posted a 42-36 win.
“We had some bright spots at the tournament,” said Hornets coach Dondre Harris. “We have a long way to go but we will get there through hard work.”
This weekend, the team travels to Van Buren for a dual tournament.
