BHS Robotics team captures State championship

Bryant Hornet Engineering Robotics team may be headed back to the World Championships in California after capturing the state robotics competition on Saturday in Russellville. The BHS team also captured the design award and Nick Gatlin earned the best driver award.

The team qualified at the 2014 VEX Robotics World Championship in the high school division in Anaheim, Calif., April 23-26.

According to Norris, “Bryant Middle School fielded two teams and did a great job as well, especially for their first venture into robotics competition.”
