The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bethel Middle School got its first taste of competition this fall at a jamboree on Tuesday and head coach Melissa Bragg was pleased.
“We won three of four matches,” she noted. “The gym was alive with excitement. I couldn’t be happier with how the girls played. They stayed focused for every play.
“I’d like to thank the cheer and dance teams for coming out to support us,” she added.
The seventh grade team hosts another jamboree this Saturday. Meanwhile, the Bethel eighth grade team makes its official 2014 debut this Thursday, Aug. 28, at Lake Hamilton.
