LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets seventh grade team had eight players contribute to the scoring in a 31-27 win at the Anthony School on Monday night.
Isabella Bluemmel led the team with 10 points. Allison Hughes added 5. Sadie Powers and Yessenia Gaspar pitched in with 4 each, and Jamie Jamison, Niki Clay, July Brazil and Allysa Sturgeon contributed 2 apiece.
Bryant borke out to a 13-1 lead in the first quarter and held a 15-8 advantage at the half. It was 23-18 going into the fourth quarter.
The team returns to action Feb. 4 at Conway.
