LITTLE ROCK — The seventh grade team from Bethel Middle School held off a late rally by the[more] Episcopal Collegiate Lady Wildcats in the fourth quarter for a 28-22 win on Tuesday night.
Riley Hill led the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets with 15 points. Bethany Hutchinson had 8 points and Kendall Rogers 5.
The Lady Hornets jumped to an 8-2 lead in the first quarter and held an 11-6 edge at the half. A run in the third quarter appeared to put the game out of reach. It was 21-8 going into the final period.
The Bryant Blue seventh grade team plays again on Monday at home against Morrilton.
