Lynn Cardin, sponsor for Bethel Middle School Green Team, has provided[more] information concerning TerraCycle.
“Through TerraCycle we have now recycled 13,902 pieces of trash and have made over $300 from our Cash for Trash program through students and parents,” Cardin said. “This is our first year to do this and it has been a great success.”
The Green Team has also recycled cell phones through Cell Phones for Soldiers during the past three years.
“We have recycled hundreds of cell phones to get free minutes for the soldiers in the war,” Cardin added.
There will be more information from the Green Team at Bethel as it comes forth from their activities.
