The Bryant Blue Hornets seventh grade team of Bethel Middle School closed out its season with[more] wins in A and B contests against Morrilton on Thursday night.
In the A game, the Hornets prevailed 35-27. In the B contest, the Hornets eased to a 29-8 victory.
For the season the Blue seventh grade team wound up 9-5.
Diante Woodson scorched the nets for 18 points in the A team win. Preston Kyzer added 6 with Sam Chumley and Matthew Sandidge tossing in 4 each and Malcolm Moody 3.
The Hornets built a 12-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and held a 22-8 advantage at the half. It was 30-16 going into the final period.
In the B game, Myers Buck paced the scoring for Bryant Blue with 11 points. Reece Graham hit for 7 with Parker Ray scoring 5, Mitchell Wollard 3, Drew Darbonne 2 and Brandon Shirlee 1.
