BENTON — Though they came back after a tough first set to win the second, the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team of Bethel Middle School was unable to keep that momentum as the Benton Junior Lady Panthers rallied to win their match, 2-1. Bethel wound up absorbing an 8-25, 25-18, 5-15 setback.
The Lady Hornets were led by Madi Draper who served up four aces and had a kill. She also contributed three digs.
Ally Benoit had two aces and a kill while Jenna Vos came through with two kills and two blocks. Karlee Kindy had an ace at the service line.
Defensively, Cassie Ray had four digs, Ally Bowers three and Emily Cox one.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to host Cabot North this Thursday at the Bryant Middle School gym, prior to the freshman contest.
