Tryouts for the Bryant Athletic Association’s new Blue League youth baseball program will[more] be held this weekend. Because of the weather, the tryouts will be held at the indoor practice facility at Bryant High School next to the football field.
For 10-year-olds, tryouts are 10 to 11:30 a.m.; for 11’s, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; for 12’s 1 to 2:30 p.m.; for 13’s 3 to 4:30 p.m.; and for 14’s from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Sunday tryouts will start at 1 p.m. An oversight committee will call players Saturday night that need to come back Sunday.
Players should show up 30 minutes before tryout to sign in, wear uniform pants, and shirts with no name on the back.
Blue League is an extra $250 on top of normal sign-up fees.
