The Bryant Athletic Association has announced the all-star rosters for the teams that will[more] compete for District, State, Regional and World Series championships this summer. Play is set to begin this Friday for District tournaments for 10-year-old teams and the 12’s playing on the 60/46 fields (60 foot basepaths and 46 foot pitching mound).
Last year as in many of the past, Bryant produced several tournament championships in various age groups including the 13-year-old Babe Ruth team, which won the World Series.
This year, the BAA Babe Ruth teams will be playing at 15-and-under and 14-and-under levels with no 13-year-old team.
Starting July 5, Bryant’s Bishop Park will be the host site for the 12-and-under (50/70) Cal Ripken State Tournament.
Team selections follow:
The 5-and-under team, which is coached by Brad Fischer, includes Blake Brower, Jackson Cantrell,
Julian Epperson, Grant Daves, Brody Fischer, Colt Martin, Jeremiah Motes, Elem Shelby, Jordan Shipe, Jake Taylor, Chase Trimble, and Seth Williams.
The 6-and-under team, coached by Brad Chism, includes J.T. Allen, Gavin Benson, Carter Brown, Cooper Chism, Zachary Covert, Avery Heidelberg, Drake Holland, Landon Jackson, E.J. McCoy, Andrew Schroeder, Braxton Speer, Aiden Stout, and Hudson Thomason.
The 5’s and 6’s will compete in the 6-and-under State Tournament starting June 28 at Sylvan Hills. The Regional Tournament will begin July 12 in Benton.
The 7-year-old team, managed by Jeremy Stovall, is Garrison Blacklaw, Brady Brower, Reid Catton, Clay Crawford, Gage Horn, Dillon Hunt, Grant Johnson, Carson Kemp, Gideon Motes, Carson Nagle, Hank Penfield, and Caden Stovall.
The 8-year-old team, headed up by Joey Small, is Luke Bickerstaff, Dawson Brown, Drake Brown, Tucker Dunn, Braxton Fischer, Matthew Griffe, Mason Lucas, Tanner Newell, Logan Owen, Alex Skelley, Chase Small, Dylan Stroud and Daniel Taylor.
The 7’s and 8’s will compete at State in Sylvan Hills beginning July 5. The Regional Tournament for the 7’s will be held at Long Beach, Miss., with the 8’s at Bay St. Louis, Miss., with both commencing on July 19.
The 9-year-old all-stars, with Jeremy Morrow as manager, includes Evan Barrett, Carson Burnett, Gavin Burton, Luke Dreher, Caleb Greiner, Drew Hatman, Connor Martin, Colby Morrow, Cade Parker, J.T. Parker, Tuner Seelinger, Hayden Thompson and Logan White.
State Tournament play for the 9’s will begin June 28, at Dumas. The Regional is set to be played at Little Rock Junior Deputy starting July 19.
Starting with the 10’s, teams become eligible to compete at the World Series level after Regionals. The State tournament for 10’s will be in Jacksonville on July 5 with the Regional at Pampa, Texas. The World Series will be played at Ocala, Fla.
Bryant will field three 10-year-old teams. One is coached by Scott Smith and includes Caleb Addie, Gage Alexander, Hunter Bennett, Josh Day, Will Hanson, Logan Hubbard, Triston Matthews, Cole Outlaw, Jared Palmer, David Shifflett, Bret Smith and Hayden Toler.
Darren Wallace is the manager of another 10-and-under squad, which includes Ethan Andrews, Austin Archer, Ty Baker, Gage Escoffery, Cole Ferguson, Justin Hall, Hunter Littleton, Troy Potter, Hart Penfield, Braxton Prather, Jackson Regan and Landon Wallace.
The 10-year-old team, coached by Greg Riggs, is Aiden Adams, Kannon Allison, Tyler Bates, Clay Curtis, River Gregory, Will Hathcote, Cameron McDonald, Trey Miller, Justin Orender, Ryan Riggs, Austin Schroeder, Blaine Sears, Brandon Thomisee and Josh Turner.
Bryant’s 11-year-old team is managed by Bryan Hall. Members include Austin Cook, Jayden Foster, Jonathan Hall, Rhett James, Tyler Jordan, Braden Lester, Josh Prather, Hunter Stallman, Braxton St. Clair and Austin Trimble.
The 11’s will compete in State at Stuttgart beginning June 28 with Regionals at Long Beach, Miss.
Lane King coaches one of the 12-and-under teams that play on the 46/60 field. The players are Jacob Birch, Jorrin Carter, Conner Coleman, Caleb Cormier, Elijah King, Christian Motes, Cameron Palmer, Dawson Phillips, Cameron Price, Jason Reed, Kobi Riffe and Trent Roe.
J.T. Koncaba’s 12-and-under (46/60) team includes Carter Brooks, Dyllon Clark, Tristan Day, Drake Edwards, Tristan Hammonds, Chandler Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Hunter Ulmer, Bryce Wilkerson, Drake Wilkerson and Jesse Windemaker.
After the District tourney at Arkadelphia this weekend, the State tournament of the 46/60 12’s will be in Magnolia starting July 5, with a Regional at Hamburg. The World Series is in Hammond, Ind.
The 12-and-under All-Stars (50/70) that will play in State at Bryant is managed by Michael Catton. Members include Logan Catton, Jacob Coppock, Logan Chambers, Cade Dupree, Logan Grant, Coby Greiner, Sawyer Holt, Ryan Lessenberry, Will McEntire, Hunter Mullings, Jacob Shepard and
Zach Wells.
Regionals for the 12-and-under (50/70) will be held at Springdale starting July 19. The World Series is at Aberdeen, Md.
In Babe Ruth play, the 14-and-under team is managed by Jerry East. The players are Logan Allen, Drew Brown, Cameron Coleman, Jake East, Lawson Fincher, Jeffrey Hastings, Dylan Hurt, Austin Kelly, Hayden Knowles, Preston Kyzer, Garrett Misenheimer, Aaron Orender, Kyle Sahr, Alex Shurtleff and Diego Vargas.
After District in Arkadelphia, the 14’s State tournament will be held in Benton starting July 12. Regionals are set for Levelland, Texas, on July 26, with the World Series at Moses Lake, Wash., Aug. 17.
Dale Welch coaches the 15-and-under All-Stars, Trey Ashmore, Seth Cardin, Joey Cates, Noah Easterling, Austin Hooper, Garrett Jarvis, Caleb Kling, Kyle Kling, Brennan Lester, Gage Lester, Jeremiah Long, Conner Riley, Dylon Singleton, Alex Thompson and Colin Welch.
State for the 15’s will be at Hamburg starting July 12. Brazoswood, Texas will host the Regional on July 26, with the World Series set for Loudoun County, Va., Aug. 17.
