The Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame board of directors has chosen to recognize Bryant coach Keith Dale for his service to the sport of track and field. The presentation will be made at the 20th annual Hall of Fame Ceremony, which will be held at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel on June 14.
Coach Dale, who is the sprint coach for the Lady Hornets, is a past president of the Arkansas Track Coaches Association and currently serves as vice-president in charge of indoor track. He came to Bryant from Southern Arkansas University where he was the head men’s and women’s track and cross country coach. Dale provides meet management, timing services, and technical support for high school track meets all across the state of Arkansas.
“This recognition for Coach Dale is very much deserved,” stated Bryant track coach Danny Westbrook. “He is such a huge asset to track and field in Arkansas due to his un-selfish commitment and his technical knowledge. We are blessed to have him on our track staff here at Bryant. He always has our sprinters and hurdlers ready to compete at the highest level.”
