COP Security based in Alexander has been chosen out of more than 200 entries of installing and monitoring security contractors from throughout North America as well as some from abroad as a finalist in the 19th annual SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards for not one but two categories.
“COPS is the only Arkansas company to be nominated and we are competing with a bunch of giants in our industry,” said COPS owner James Ward. “Even if we don’t win the overall award it is a huge honor to have the nomination from our industry’s top marketing and PR professionals.”
COPS has been nominated for Best Vehicle Graphics and Best Community Outreach Program.
“We will find out in April if we are the overall winner of either award,” Ward said.
COP Security is a local statewide security contractor and integrator combining security and home/business automation.
“We use the very best technology designed by our partners alarm.com, Linear Corp. and GE Security,” said Ward. “We bring the intrusion alarm, video cameras, garage door control, lighting control, thermostat control, door lock control, appliance control and energy management. It all comes together under one seamless platform powered by alarm.com giving the customer a single app to control nearly everything that matters to them at home and work.
“We also enable text and email alerts to keep customers informed in real time,” he continued. “These alerts can be anything from an employee entering the premises, child opening a medicine cabinet/gun cabinet, or a worker onsite that opens a sensitive area like a jewelry box, secure closet or file room.”
COP Security has been leading Arkansas in the very best technology for nearly 15 years, Ward concluded.
The SAMMY Awards are presented by Security Sales and Integration of Framingham, Mass., to recognize and honor installing security dealers and integrators for their marketing, business, installation and overall excellence.
