On the agenda for this month's Bryant City Council meeting to be held Thursday, March 28[more] will be a recommendation to amend Ordinance 2012-28 to remove online transaction processing charges to customers for utility rates.
The amendment is to allow the city to utilize a utility rate fee schedule.
Also, a revision has been requested for the hours and prices of the splash pad at The Center at Bishop Park. The suggestion to the Council will be to allow no more than 40 people on the pad for a reservation and reservations would not include a shaded structure.
A day pass for the pad would be $4 for youth and seniors and $6 for adults with memberships to the Center. Rental fees are to be set at $120 Monday through Thursday with no pool access and on Fridays through Sundays, the pad could only be rented to pool parties for $60.
There will also be brought before the Council a Resolution to fund a new 12-inch water main to booster a pump station. The Bryant water department is trying to appropriate funds for the project.
